Do you remember your academy helmet? That wonderful, demoralizing salad bowl that made you stick out like a sore thumb?
 
Well, recruits these days are going to miss out on that experience. They're coming out to the field with Ben 2 helmets, a marked improvement from what we all had.
 
The catch? No helmet shields. It's up to them, or their shift, to outfit the helmet with a suitable shield. Regardless of who purchases the shield, they can't be walking around without one. They'll look super goofy, and the brass eagle is a gigantic hook waiting to snag on everything.
 
Recruits will be doing plenty of goofy stuff as is, make sure wearing a shield-less helmet is not one of them.

Good shield but tip for TJ

Shield turned out great and was very quick production time. But there was a business card and sticker included in the packaging. The paper was stuck the that paint of the shield and when I went to remove the paper the paint peeled off the R. From the consumers view put the paperwork on the backside of the shield to prevent this problem to any future buyers.

Oh man, those are the little details that matter. I'll start taping the swag to the back of the shield, and I'll bring paint to fix the mishap on our off-going shift. Thanks for the tip!
